Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG)
Through this collaboration, a Broadband Seismograph (BBS) has been installed on SCCZ campus for monitoring seismic activities in the Northeast region focusing on seismic hazard mitigation. For regular maintenance and data retrieval from BBS station, personnel from IIG, Shillong Geophysical Research Centre (SRGC)regularly visit SCCZ and during these visits the employees of IIG interact with the students and faculty of the college and deliver scientific lectures and involve in scientific discussions.
