[Lead us from untruth to the Truth, darkness to the Light, and death to Eternal Life…]

The ancient Rishis of India prayed for guidance to reach eternal truth, light and life. SCCZ adopts the same prayer as its MOTTO: “Truth, Light and Life.” The Motto also stands for Jesus, our Inspiration, who is the Truth, Light and Life of the world.

THE CREST elaborates the same theme: the Book stands for the Truth, the Sun symbolizes the Light and the Trees point to the fullness of Life. The combination of Hills, Sun, and Trees symbolizes the State where SCCZ is situated: Arunachal Pradesh, the land of dawn-lit mountains. Cross, Fire, and Heart symbolize the Claretians who, on fire with love for God and humanity, are committed to facilitating soulful education for the students of SCCZ. The Fire and Heart also symbolize the very students of SCCZ, the Claretines, who aspire to become passionate and compassionate agents of healthy change in the world they live. Three Lines at the Horizon remind that education is a never-ending, on-going process. The sixteen outward emanations point to sixteen fruits of knowledge that the SCCZ desires every Claretine to achieve at its portals: Compassion [kripa], Gentleness [Mrudutha], Courage [Dhairya], Dispassion [Vairagya], Constancy [Dhruti], Prosperity [Sampath], Cheerfulness [Haasya], Excitement [Romancha], Humility [Vinaya], Meditation [Dhyaana], Restfulness [Swasthirat], Gravity of Demeanour [Gaambheerya], Enterprise [Udyama], Equanimity [Akshoba], Magnanimity [Audaarya] and Concentration [Ekaagratha].
